In 2021, the Artistic Swim AWD Organization launched a new website to educate/inform our artistic swim world and the public about our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives, programs and advocacy. DEI has been in force since 1965 to expand opportunities for the underrepresented populations. The website has now been updated and integrated with the continuance of DEI initiatives/programs for our USA Artistic Swimming West Zone and it's Regions which includes Arizona, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington and Hawaii.

Our goals are to continue the work our USA Artistic Swim Federation approved for diversity, equity and inclusion with our clubs, teams, competitions and events. The clubs/teams range from recreational, competitive, collegiate to masters. The name Artistic Swimming was formerly (changed in 2017 by FINA) known as 'Synchronized Swimming' and is also an Olympic Sport (since 1984). The purpose of this website is to feature blog news and updates, the diversity of our athletes and our commitment to inclusion in our sport.

We welcome residents/visitors to explore our website and to remain hopeful and inspired by what our sport has accomplished for our youths/adults who share the same passion as everyone else who appreciates our sport. We want to highly encourage the outreach in our West Zone regions and abroad and to consider joining our lifelong, fun sport! We welcome anyone with any ability who wants to try something creative, artistic with diverse groups of athletes.

Feel free to contact the individual clubs in your area for more specific information and about joining. Follow the links for the West Zone Club Section as well as the Region B Northern California Section of our website. Thank you.
